10 Incredibly-Short Turnarounds Between UFC Fights

4. Dustin Pague (14 Days)

Former bantamweight Ultimate Fighter competitor Dustin Pague would have his two first official fights for the promotion just two weeks apart from one another.

'The Disciple's first bout took place at UFC on FX on 8 June 2012 and saw him earn a first-round rear-naked choke submission victory over Jared Papazian. Two weeks later, the UFC found themselves in a bind, as both Edwin Figueroa and his replacement, Francisco Rivera, went down with injuries ahead of their UFC on FX prelim fight with Ken Stone on 22 June 2012. Pague stepped in as a third string, ultimately losing the bout by an ever-so-close split decision.

This loss would be the first of a five-fight losing streak for Pague, the fourth of which would result in his release from the promotion in April of 2014. He would not win another fight until March of 2015, when he knocked out Charlie Gathers at World Cagefighting Championships 13. He would retire later that year with a lackluster record of 12-11.

Still, kudos to him for accepting two fights in the UFC just two weeks apart from each other. Not even a mediocre win-loss record can take that away from him.
