4. The Amazing Red Invented Every Move You Love
http://youtu.be/_UZOG33GyC8?t=34s Well, not really, but if you're wondering just who invented that cool "sit on your back into a sunset flip powerbomb" that Goldust is doing these days, it's called a "Code Red," and the Amazing Red was doing it in small gymnasiums nationwide while Goldust was still teaming with Booker T. There was a period between 2002-2004 when Red was *the* most dynamic junior heavyweight wrestler in the pro wrestling industry. One needed to look no further than the Brooklynite in order to see what reverse/hybrid/inverted/springboard/flying cutter/driver/stunner/DDT was hot in independent wrestling. A one-stop shop for perpetual invention, the grappler who was well under six feet tall and well under 200 pounds was akin to an American Rey Mysterio, Jr., but knee injuries and burnout kept him from reaching the next level. There a video up there with 15 maneuvers you've seen all over WWE and elsewhere in the past decade. Enjoy the originator!
