10 Indy "Veterans" Making WWE TV Very Watchable Right Now

5. Dean Ambrose

For eight years, Dean Ambrose was Jon Moxley, and as an independent wrestler was a standout who maximized his run in every conceivable way possible. Before signing with WWE, Ambrose was a multiple-time World Champion, wrestled in death matches, toured the entire United States, and Puerto Rico, too. Likely much more of a well-rounded performer than most any wrestler save Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens who's come to WWE in recent memory, Ambrose is probably scratching 1/100th of his potential in the company at present. When one sits down and really considers the talents who are likely to leave an indelible and legendary impact on WWE before they're all done, Ambrose -- due to his incredibly diverse experiences that have yet to be tapped into -- has the most considerable upside to become a "legend" of any WWE star currently on the roster not already at that level.
