10 Indy "Veterans" Making WWE TV Very Watchable Right Now

3. Seth Rollins

In the space of three years in WWE, Seth Rollins has been undefeated in a stable for a year, held the Money In The Bank briefcase and in the space of the last six months been both the WWE World Champion and unseated John Cena in the midst of his red-hot run as United States Champion. Had Seth Rollins not been Ring of Honor Champion as Tyler Black during ROH's indy-to-mainstream transformation in 2009-2010, he wouldn't have the experience of fulfilling corporate expectations as a not-so-mainstream champion, which is basically his job at present in WWE. In doing the work likely best suited for a CM Punk-style performer while not being CM Punk, Rollins has filled a need and oftentimes exceeded expectation in the company. A unique performer doing a unique job, he's likely the only one who can do what he's doing.
