4. Triple H - $2,800,000 P/A For WWE Executive Duties

'The Game' was "That Damn Good" at his job in 2000, enough for his self-aggrandising heel moniker to stick as he tried in vain to mould himself in a Ric Flair for the modern era. Triple H played to win though, and has emerged as one of the industry's most intriguing success stories ever. Hulk Hogan, The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin earned untold fortunes thanks to the Vince McMahon's empire, but Hunter instead chased an altogether different precious metal - the keys to the kingdom.

From officially marrying in to the family business in 2003, Triple H moved from full to part time as a performer before transferring the bulk of his duties to the boardroom in 2011. Currently Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative in title, his role most notably assumes responsibility for the largely spectacular NXT product alongside limited in-ring exposure ordinarily around WrestleMania time. Despite his painful post-Attitude Era insecurities, by grossing $2.8million per year as of 2016, Triple H has finally drawn as much money in ties as his peers did in tights
