1. Foley Has A Bad Day
As if Mick Foley was going to just show up on this list once...
King of the Ring 1998 is one of the most iconic nights in professional wrestling history, and it's pretty much entirely thanks to Mick Foley and his massive cojones. The Hell In A Cell match-up between Foley and The Undertaker started off casual enough, but once both men had climbed up on top of the cell, it was clear this match had something special to it.
With both men atop the massive steel structure, the only way left to go was down. 'Taker took the initiative and tossed Foley off the cell, completely shattering an announcer's desk in the process. This was only around 10 minutes into their 17 minute match, however, so you know what that crazy bastard did?
'The King of Hardcore' climbed back up.
History really does repeat itself, as Foley's time on top of the world would once again be short-lived. Only this time, Mick wasn't going over the edge, he was going through it. After a chokeslam with way too much force, Foley went straight through the top of the cell and caved a miniature crater into the ring below.
The fact that Mick Foley is even alive today has to be the work of miracles. Then again, Foley is God.
