10 Interesting WWE Facts About Brock Lesnar In Madison Square Garden

The Beast has had several memorable moments in The Garden, not all dominant.

For the second time in three months, WWE is promoting Brock Lesnar as a major attraction and selling point for what essentially is a house show, broadcast on the WWE Network. On July 4th, Lesnar battled Kofi Kingston in Tokyo, Japan for an event dubbed "Beast in the East." This time, Brock will square off against Big Show at Madison Square Garden on October 3rd. WWE is pushing this as Lesnar€™s first appearance in the famed New York City arena in more than a decade. Actually, it will have been 11 years and nearly seven months when Brock makes his return to MSG. Despite having a brief, two-year run with WWE from 2002-04, Lesnar still has managed to amass an impressive history in the Garden. He€™s defended titles, wrestled WWE Hall of Famers and competed in multiple matches in one night at MSG. It€™s an impressive resume of events during his tenure, and it looks like another chapter will be added when he (likely) hoists Big Show up on his shoulders and F5s him to the mat. Nothing is written in stone, but that€™s a pretty safe assumption. In anticipation of Lesnar€™s latest appearance on the WWE Network, let€™s walk through some of the more interesting moments Brock Lesnar has had in Madison Square Garden.
