Face it, he's gone! It was fun back in February when nobody quite knew to whole story and everyone was sure that WWE would be able to bring him back eventually. Some people were even convinced that the whole thing was a work. But as the days turned to weeks and the weeks to months, it became more and more apparent that Phil Brooks was done. Fair enough WWE will still hear those chants every time they return to Chicago, but the rest of the world really needs to give it a rest. It's also disrespectful to AJ Lee who hears those chants every time she skips through the curtain. This is the same Diva who established her own character, managed to win the hearts of the diehard fans for being different from all the other Divas and got herself over more than any other Diva since 2006. For her to be bombarded with Punk chants just because she's married to him is inevitable, but it's also very frustrating.
As a wrestling fan I've flown across the Atlantic for the last five years specifically to attend WrestleMania (28 and 30) as well as TNA, ROH, Evolve, Chikara and most recently PWG.
I may have a problem!
But if you're reading my work then you probably love wrestling too, so lets focus on that!
