10 Jeff Hardy WWE Matches That Must Happen

10. Dolph Ziggler

As Jeff Hardy was winding down his last run in WWE, Dolph Ziggler had just begun his first. Dolph Ziggler opened up the final pay-per-view of Jeff Hardy's WWE run in 2009, unsuccessfully challenging Rey Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship. Ziggles has come a long way as a performer in the years since, but badly-timed injuries and a lack of confidence from creative has meant that The Showoff hasn't risen too far up the card.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Jeff Hardy is a dream match for sure, but it more than likely is a dream match from four years ago. In many ways the two are kindred spirits, elite-level sellers who gained crowd sympathy from their ability to take a believable beating. The two are also similar in size and build.

A Ziggler/Hardy match in 2017 wouldn't be the spectacle it may have been in the past, but with a reinvigorated Jeff and an eager to impress Dolph facing off, sparks could most definitely fly.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
