10 Jeff Hardy WWE Matches That Must Happen

7. Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt
WWE

Just two weeks ago, this match would have been even more enticing. The 'Eater of Worlds' was on his highest high, the reigning WWE Champion going into WrestleMania 33, and it seemed as though WWE was finally going all the way with Bray Wyatt.

Then the cockroaches and worms happened.

Wyatt is arguably lower on the totem pole now than he has been in years, with his credibility all but shot thanks to the eventually-frustrating feud with Randy Orton. A potential Bray Wyatt/Jeff Hardy match still comes with buckets of intrigue however, for a number of reasons.

Bray's best matches have been with smaller guys who can bump around the ring for him, and that is exactly what Jeff excels at. The main reason for the intrigue in this match is aesthetic however - Jeff is one of the few WWE characters even weirder than Bray.

The 'Eater of Worlds' would have his work cut out for him trying to out-weird 'The Charismatic Engima'. No one wants to see Jeff Hardy's weird open eye make-up again, but it could be just the thing to knock The New Face of Fear out his stride.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
