OK, last one on Hulk.

This is more about Randy Savage anyway. His well-known paranoia severed any chance of a full-time friendship with Hogan in the 90s. Randy, who kept a close eye on Miss. Elizabeth backstage and didn't like anyone talking to her when he wasn't there, was incensed when Liz split from him and started spending time at Hulk's house.

Macho Man's brother Lanny Poffo has said in several shoot interviews before that Elizabeth sought sanctuary at Hogan's mansion, and had become good mates with Hulk and his then-wife Linda. That, to Randy, was a knife in the back, and it oddly echoed sentiments he'd shared in WWF promos years before.

Back then, Savage had claimed that Hulk's intentions towards Liz were less-than-pure, and said he had "lust" in his eyes towards her when they teamed together as The Mega-Powers. It seems Randy traded pretend jealously for real resentment within the span of a few years.

His relationship with Hogan would be on/off from that point on - and Savage would even later release a rap song calling out his friend-turned-foe.
