10 Key Numbers Associated With The Royal Rumble

Over 300 entrants have created these must know statistics.

People get excited for this time of the year in the WWE. Mainly it is because the Royal Rumble marks the unofficial beginning for the "Road To Wrestlemania". Overall, the product is typically the best in terms of quality from January to April, as the writers look to hit a home run with some big storylines. For 2015 specifically, it could be dream matchups we have never seen, and the possible first match ever for Sting. It all starts with the Royal Rumble, but it is more than just the mark to begin Wrestlemania season. The Royal Rumble match itself is an entity all in it's own due to it's unique match format. The biggest takeaway from the format of the Royal Rumble are the numbers that are associated with it. The WWE has promoted this over the past few years by providing a lot of key figures in regards to its history. Thanks to 30 entrants (in most Rumbles) coming in at timed intervals, there are many different ways to use numbers to tell the story from eliminations to the amount of time someone spends in the match. Of course the number that the wrestler "draws" is key to the match, but the #30 entrant has won just as many entrants as the #1 entrant in history at two wins a piece. For this article, let's take a look at 10 key numbers that are associated with the Royal Rumble match that have help shape it for the 27 times the match has taken place...
