10 Key Numbers Associated With The Royal Rumble

1. Most Wins (3 - Steve Austin)

The biggest and most important number when it comes to the Royal Rumble match is the number of wins. One man stands alone on top of this list, and it is no other than Stone Cold Steve Austin with 3. He was the last wrestler to go back to back in the Rumble in 1997 and 1998, and then he followed that up with one last win in 2001. There is a 99% chance that Austin will remain the only 3-time winner of the Rumble as John Cena has a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match, and Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, and Batista are pretty much not going to win it in 2015. Austin's three wins for the Royal Rumble have a lot of interesting stats. The final person he eliminated in all of his wins include two WWE Hall of Famers (Bret Hart & The Rock), and someone who will most definitely be in the WWE Hall of Fame someday in Kane. Two of Austin's wins were fairly short appearances of 10 and 16 minutes; while he spent just over 45 minutes to win his first Rumble match. Finally in his first two wins he was a workhorse eliminating 10 and 7 wrestlers respectively, but his final win in 2001 only took eliminating 3 men. As always, thank you for reading my articles!
