10 Key Numbers Associated With The Royal Rumble

6. Most Eliminations Of All-Time (39 - Shawn Michaels)

There is no doubt that Shawn Michaels is the Showstopper. Before he became Mr. Wrestlemania, he was Mr. Royal Rumble when he became the second of three people to ever win back to back Royal Rumbles. Hulk Hogan was first, and Steve Austin was the last. Michaels did it in 1995 and 1996, and those two wins help propelled him to hold the record for most eliminations in the Royal Rumble at a total of 39 wrestlers. In 1995, HBK entered in at #1, and was the first person to ever win the Rumble from that spot. He eliminated 8 wrestlers that night, and on his repeat win in 1996, he threw another 8 over the top rope. In total, HBK was in 12 Royal Rumbles to help get him to 39 eliminations, including an amazing final two in 2007 with The Undertaker; which eventually led to one of the greatest matches of all-time. HBK may not hold the record past this year as Kane is only one behind with 38.
