10 Key Personalities That WWE Underappreciates

7. Scott Hall

Scott Hall's career will be forever linked with that of Kevin Nash, aka Diesel, and vice versa. Like Nash's portrayal of Diesel, Hall's Razor Ramon was the very first superstar that WWE presented as a babyface despite having many of the characteristics and behaviors associated with a heel. In this regard, Scott Hall's personification of Razor Ramon planted the seeds for future anti-hero personalities, most notably Stone Cold Steve Austin. Along with Nash, Hall left for WCW in 1996 and returned to WWE in 2002, but the decision to defect to the competition in the mid-90s is something that WWE will never allow 'The Bad Guy' to forget. Nash's injuries were the scapegoat for his failed return in 2002, while Hall's struggles with substance abuse were enough for WWE to cut him loose and distance themselves from him. Over the past few years Hall has cleaned himself up quite a bit and the company has been giving him chances to get more involved with the current product. The 2014 Hall Of Famer recently began helping out NXT talents at the WWE Performance Center. Regardless of what the future holds, Scott Hall's impact on the sport of professional wrestling, and WWE specifically, has few equals. Unfortunately, Hall and Nash both had their name forever stamped once they signed for WCW, and while Vince McMahon may forgive, he never forgets. The forthcoming WWE-produced Scott Hall documentary sure will be interesting...
