Conspicuous by his absence from a featured WrestleMania match is Braun Strowman. The beastly superstar has been getting a consistently great push since the brand split, and to his credit, he's vastly improved in the ring (no surprise, given he debuted on TV with about six matches to his name).

For months, it was rumored that he'd be taking on Roman Reigns at 'Mania, but with the Undertaker match a higher priority for Reigns, the Strowman bout was blown off at Fastlane. Reigns won that match cleanly, putting something of an end to Strowman's unbridled momentum.

In any case, the fact that Strowman finds himself in the pre-show battle royal (and that Samoa Joe isn't advertised as part of the match) makes him a sure-fire favorite to win the bout. Sami Zayn, whom Strowman feuded with late last year, could pull off an upset, and there's always the chance of an NXT debut like last year, but Strowman is definitely the safe bet.
