8. Goldust Vs. R-Truth Gets Added To The Card
Over the past couple of months, one of the best programs in all of WWE has involved two men who are closer to age 50 than to 40 - Goldust and R-Truth. Goldust turned on Truth to dissolve their tag team, and since then, the two enemies have been cutting old-school promos on one another, building up excitement for a fight. Over the past couple of weeks they've upped the ante, attacking each other on Raw.
Still, no match has been made between the two - at least, not yet. While it is possible that a singles bout could be added to the Great Balls of Fire card, it seems anticlimactic to have the blowoff thrown onto the show without much fanfare.
It's also important to keep in mind that there are already eight matches announced for the show (including the kickoff), and that one of them is a 30-minute Iron Man bout. Given how packed Great Balls of Fire already is, it's hard to imagine anything more than an unadvertised skit being added to the card.
