10 Last-Minute WWE Survivor Series 2016 Predictions

One of the biggest announcements heading into Survivor Series was the news of the major stipulation that’s been added to the Cruiserweight Championship bout.

Brian Kendrick will be defending his gold against SmackDown’s Kalisto, with the added condition that if Kalisto wins, not only does his SmackDown brand acquire the Cruiserweight title—they also acquire the entire Cruiserweight division itself.

Now, with the new '205 Live' show taking place on Tuesdays, you’d think it would make sense to have the Cruiserweights on SmackDown rather than Raw, suggesting that a Kalisto win may well be on the cards. But that doesn’t necessarily mean that Brian Kendrick is going to lose the belt this Sunday...

My money is on a Brian Kendrick loss via disqualification, producing a situation whereby Kalisto wins—and thus SmackDown get the Cruiserweights—however Kendrick keeps a hold of the title. Not only does this satisfy the '205 Live' Tuesday night conundrum, it’s also totally in keeping with Kendrick’s “man with a plan” gimmick and the underhanded tricks he's been up to lately.
