10 Lessons From History That Could Solve All Of WWE's Problems
3. Brock Lesnar As The Top Babyface
Brock Lesnar's been in WWE for nearly three years now. He's not a full time performer and probably never will be again. During his entire return run, he's been a dominant heel that usually has Paul Heyman at his side. You may have that on the Raw prior to the Royal Rumble and at the Rumble itself, Lesnar was cheered. There were rumblings that Lesnar might turn face, but that didn't really happen. It's easy to book Lesnar as a heel. He's bigger than most people, he's an incredible, he's got a jerk advocate (or manager) in Heyman reminding us how great Brock is and he only shows up about 20 times in the year. Booking him that way is simple. Why not try something different? During Lesnar's original run in WWE, they turned him face in late 2002 because the fans were cheering for him because of how physical he was. Then he won the Royal Rumble in 2003 as well as the WWE Title in the main event of WrestleMania 19. There is likely some money to be made in one more babyface run for Lesnar. Fans see him as a big star. The earlier idea about Heyman backing Reigns could work to turn Lesnar into a face because if he gets screwed out of the title that makes him sympathetic and fans would want to see him get it back. Plus, Lesnar's power moves are awesome to watch and the crowd wants to see him hurt people, so he's easy get behind in that sense. With Lesnar's impending free agent status looming over WWE post WrestleMania, perhaps a face run for "The Beast" will freshen him up and help WWE going forward.
