10 Lessons WWE Could Learn From Lucha Underground

10. Re-Sign Brian Cage

From 2008-2009, Cage -- aka the guy in the opening match of Ultima Lucha who curbstomped Willie Mack's head through a cinderblock -- worked in WWE as Kris Logan in Florida Championship Wrestling. A six foot tall and 270 pound bodybuilder, on the surface, he seems to be just the kind of guy that WWE would salivate over signing. However, when you watch him wrestle, he's not exactly what WWE was (and in some cases is) looking for out of jacked up monsters. He has a solid handle on ground-based maneuvers, but is also fond of on occasion leaving his feet. In looking at where WWE is now, the idea that a guy like Brian Cage is in Lucha Underground while the Rybacks and Baron Corbins of the world have WWE jobs seems completely absurd. In WWE in 2008, Cage was an outlier. In WWE in 2015, the super-athletic bodybuilder Cage could easily be the Intercontinental Champion. Something to consider.
