10 Lessons WWE Should Have Learned Over WrestleMania 35 Weekend
8. Always Use A Stage For The Hall Of Fame
I'll keep this one short. The new look for the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony was gorgeous. The ring, the golden ropes, the intimate feel, all of it was a drastic improvement on the usual pomp and ceremony of the event but sadly we simply are not allowed to have nice things.
On the off chance you spent the weekend in a cave on Mars with your eyes shut and your fingers in your ears, a 'fan' rushed the stage during the Hart Foundation induction and attacked Bret Hart. He was then mobbed by a sea of security and talent, dragged out of the ring, all as the entire crowd reeled in shock. Dash Wilder slugged him in the face on the way out for his troubles.
Sadly, this wouldn't have happened under the old set-up, and it's probably as good a reason as any to go back to it. The open and inviting feel of 2019's ceremony wouldn't work with barriers and security, and without them it's simply not worth the risk.
