10 LIES WWE Told You About WrestleMania
7. The Undertaker's Streak Was Legendary

When it comes to The Undertaker's legendary WrestleMania streak, WWE loves to hype it up as an unbroken series of epic battles, but the early matches weren't exactly classics.
The Streak began with a win over Jimmy Snuka at WrestleMania VII, followed by a series of forgettable matches against opponents like Giant Gonzalez and King Kong Bundy. Not exactly the stuff of legends.
For years, The Streak was just a fun fact, not the monumental achievement it later became. It wasn't even acknowledged until 2002, when The Undertaker was already 10-0. It took a decade for WWE to start treating The Streak as a big deal. And let's not forget, it wasn't until 2005 that someone truly challenged The Streak with Randy Orton's "Legend Killer" persona.
So, while WWE now celebrates The Streak as one of the greatest accomplishments in wrestling history, the reality is a bit different. The early matches were lacklustre, and it took years for The Streak to gain the prestige it eventually held. But at least we got some unforgettable moments in the later years, right? That's what really matters in the end.
