10 LIES WWE Told You About WrestleMania
6. The UK Will Host One Day

WWE and their long-standing tease of hosting WrestleMania in the UK – it's almost become a running joke.
For years, WWE has dangled the possibility in front of British fans, hinting at WrestleMania coming to the UK. Yet, every year, it remains just that – a tease.
Despite the passionate fanbase and the success of events like SummerSlam '92 at Wembley Stadium, WWE always seems to find a reason to keep WrestleMania stateside. Logistics, time zones, you name it – there's always an excuse. Meanwhile, UK fans are left with tantalising hints and empty promises.
Even John Cena has joined the chorus, advocating for a UK WrestleMania during his surprise appearance at Money in the Bank 2023. Cena has repeatedly expressed that London deserves to host WWE’s pinnacle event, emphasising the unwavering support from UK fans. Yet, despite his efforts and the fans' hopes, WrestleMania remains firmly planted in the US.
WWE loves to keep the dream alive, dropping occasional hints and fuelling speculation, but the reality is, WrestleMania has never crossed the Atlantic.
