On Wrestling Observer Radio, Finn Balor's name was briefly mentioned when discussing surprises that could turn up in the US Open Challenge. He would indeed be a great pick to come in and take Cena's belt. It would be the hot introduction he needed to the main shows, and just imagine the atmosphere when the music hit and The Demon crawled out at the Staples Center. Cena would be able to put over a new talent and help establish Balor's credentials. Sure, he's still NXT Champion and busy on the yellow brand, but so was Kevin Owens when he came in and beat John Cena clean at Elimination Chamber 2015. Maybe this Sunday, it will be the Demon's time to rise, as John Cena temporarily says goodbye to WWE.
