10 Little Known Things You Didn't Know About SummerSlam

10. The Undertaker Should Be Considered Mr SummerSlam

Out of all the wrestlers to have worked SummerSlam, The Undertaker is perhaps the most enduring legend. As of 2013 he was the man with the most consecutive matches at SummerSlam, having featured in bouts from 1992 all the way up until 2005. That's generation defining quality! Along the way, The Deadman picked up 9 SummerSlam victories, making him the most successful wrestler in event history. Nobody has won more matches than him at the August show. However, he isn't as successful at SummerSlam as he is at Mania. In his overall 15 matches at the event, he has definitively lost on five occasions. By Deadman standards, that isn't great! However, no one can quite match his longevity and appearance rate. John Cena might get there, and Shawn Michaels certainly has the better history of great SummerSlam matches. But when you talk about Mr.SummerSlam, you've got to be talking about The Undertaker.
