10 Live Observations From Attending EVOLVE Wrestling Over WrestleMania Weekend

2. Ricochet Is The King Of The Indies

Leagues like EVOLVE and Ring of Honor are built around the most talented wrestlers available. Their rosters are filled with the cream of the crop, and the reason WWE's in-ring product has improved so much over the past decade is because they've been scouting talent from these independent promotions.

Still, as good as the scene is, there's nobody quite like Ricochet.

Ricochet, who also wrestles as Prince Puma in Lucha Underground, is simply the most acrobatic high-flyer in wrestling history. He does unbelievable things in the ring, and his complete control over his body baffles the mind.

He's also got boatloads of charisma, carries himself like a star, and knows what it takes to put on a great match.

Surprisingly, Ricochet fell to TJP on Friday's show, but on Saturday, he won an amazing main event over Will Ospreay. Ospreay is one of the few men in wrestling who's actually in Ricochet's league when it comes to acrobatics, and the bout did not disappoint.

Ricochet's win was well-received, and the star promised he'd try to come back to EVOLVE soon.
