EVOLVE has been getting a lot of press over the past few months due to its relationship with WWE, and while the details of the arrangement are known only to the two parties, it's clear that the promotions are becoming more and more cozy.

At Friday's EVOLVE show, TJP expressed an interest in joining the Global Cruiserweight Series, and atSaturday's show, Anthony Nese did the same.

EVOLVE is even using its relationship with WWE as fodder for storylines. After losing the Tag Team Championships to Catch Point, Johnny Gargano and Drew Galloway stood in the ring, defeated, as Galloway asked for a microphone.

He proceeded to recount how he came to the independent leagues with a goal of strengthening the scene and bolstering his own reputation, and he did just that as EVOLVE Champion.

Galloway continued by explaining how once he lost the belt, he left the company for a few months, and during that time, the EVOLVE-WWE relationship developed. Getting furious, the star ranted about how he didn't help bring EVOLVE to new heights just for the company to jump in bed with WWE and thereby sacrifice itself as an independent entity.

Then he kicked Gargano in the crotch.
