10 Longest Times Between First And Last WWE Title Victories

WWE might be begrudgingly forced to erase company favourite Fabulous Moolah from all their record books these days, but unless a 76-year-old Superstar Billy Graham - who won WWE's top title in 1977 - gets a 24/7 pin next year, there's virtually no chance of anyone surpassing this one any time soon.

Moolah became the inaugural WWE Women's champion (then operating under the NWA banner) way back in 1956, beating Judy Grable for the privilege. According to company historians, she'd keep a stranglehold on the strap for the next 10,170 days, much like the one she held on women's wrestling throughout the period. Of course, away from Cloud Cuckooland, she dropped and regained the belt on four occasions before 'officially' relinquishing her face-encrusted leather to Wendi Richter in 1984.

At the sprightly age of 76, Moolah returned to WWE in 1999 as part of a Golden Girls act with Mae Young. This being the height of Attitude nonsense, the septuagenarian obviously beat Ivory to capture her belt back for the fourth and final time.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
