2. Bobby Lashley’s MMA Money

In another case of a wrestler crossing over to MMA and his mainstream appeal making him much more valuable and wealthy than his opponents, Bobby Lashley’s name has to be taken into consideration too. His MMA background often pops up these days when he talks about advocating for his dream match in WWE against fellow fighter Brock Lesnar. Lashley holds a 15-2 win/loss record for when he competed in Bellator, Strikeforce and elsewhere from 2008-2016.

Lashley would earn more than his opponents after making a name for himself in WWE in his first run with the company and TNA where he became their World Champion in 2014. It’s evident when the earnings from one of Lashley’s first fights was revealed from SRP: March Badness. On the event, Lashley came away with the win over Jason Guida and $40,000 and a portion of the PPV revenue. Guida meanwhile lost and earned roughly $15,000.

Any bets on who earns more if Lashley, now that he’s become WWE Champion with The Hurt Business on Raw, ends up getting his long-awaited match against Brock Lesnar?
