10 Main Roster WWE Superstars Who Would Be Great In NXT

1. Randy Orton

Besides John Cena, there isn't a more brand name main event WWE performer than Randy Orton. He's a peerless in-ring technician, and if looking for a WWE talent who could provide must-see TV with any of the indy darlings presently in NXT, it's him. John Cena versus Kevin Owens is appealing because of the visual trickery of it all. It's "Mr. WWE" versus "Mr. Indy Wrestling" in a match that for many fans is a "thing that should not be." Now imagine Randy Orton versus Finn Balor as "The Demon." This one isn't a visual trick at all. It's a main event match in all ways, especially regarding both entrances and in-ring performance. Of all of the "dream matches" between the main roster and NXT, it's Orton versus Balor that should be the one that fans should be licking their chops to see. Orton dropping Balor with an "RKO outta nowhere" as Balor goes for the "Coup de Grace?" Exactly. Think about all of the other possibilities, too. Randy Orton in NXT? One can only hope.
