10 Main Roster WWE Superstars Who Would Be Great In NXT
5. Daniel Bryan
No, this doesn't involve Daniel Bryan as an in-ring performer. Sami Zayn's comeback should involve him making a stop in NXT. There should be a brash heel being developed right now, like a Solomon Crowe, who could be building steam and gaining credibility. Of course, when it gets close to Sami's return, this is where you insert Daniel Bryan and make two stars at once. As Sami's ready to return, Daniel Bryan happens upon him at the Performance Center and wishes him luck, saying that he knows the position he's in, and to "take it easy." Solomon Crowe could see this and walk up insulting both Bryan and Zayn, saying that if Zayn wants to "take it easy," that he shouldn't come back, because there's people like him who aren't going to "take it easy" on him. This leads to Bryan showing up when Sami's returning and Bryan comes out to cut a "hi, I'm here" promo which turns heated when Solomon Crowe hits the scene. A heated promo with Bryan and Crowe ends with Crowe slapping Bryan in the face and going to assault him, with William Regal separating Bryan from Crowe and Sami running out to assist his friend. Zayn gets the rub of Daniel Bryan's support and Crowe gets the rub of having assaulted a Wrestlemania main eventer. As well, it's an effective use of Daniel Bryan that involves him taking ZERO bumps.
