This is surely on the cards.

Endeavor might've chipped away at the UFC's legacy wing and ditched a lot of older fighters, but that doesn't mean those stars won't find a place over on the WWE side. Conor McGregor, for example, has been linked with a few pro wrasslin' bouts for years now.

WWE would be foolish not to use the outspoken scrapper's verbal skills or name value. Why wouldn't they (aside from the fact Conor went off the rails a long time ago, but then, top stars aren't held to account)?

Gleaning some cash from a well-known asset UFC plundered for years would be smart business from Endeavor's perspective, and there's no doubt at least one McGregor match would fetch a tidy sum on pay-per-view.

Conor vs. Brock Lesnar has marquee value, and so does McGregor vs. Roman Reigns if the promotion fancies going down that route. Don't scoff at the latter - WWE already booked Roman vs. Logan Paul, and he's nowhere near the decorated fighter Conor was/is.

Don't forget that Tyson f'n Fury has also worked a few matches for the company. Anything is possible.
