10 MAJOR Improvements WWE Have Already Made In 2018

9. Evil Nakamura

One of WWE's most beloved wrestlers he may be, but with AJ Styles around, Shinsuke Nakamura was never going to be SmackDown's top babyface. Fortunately, this is no longer a concern.

Turning 'The King Of Strong Style' heel was a great move. Not only has it cleared a pathway to the top, but it has helped Shinsuke unlock some of the old viciousness that used to permeate his New Japan work, making him significantly more interesting. His fists-to-testicles run has been excellent. Somehow, WWE have found a way to make the crowd jeer an internet favourite, and Nakamura is doing great things himself, with his character work now more compelling than at any other point throughout his WWE tenure.

After a blasé main roster run so far, we can only hope Nakamura keeps this up. He hasn't been bad on SmackDown, but his lustre peaked a long time ago, and we're still waiting for that one great singles match. This reinvention should be exactly what he needs to get back to his old level, regardless of whether he becomes WWE Champion or not.
