10 Major Predictions For UFC 225: Whittaker Vs. Romero 2

1. Middleweight Title: Robert Whittaker (c) Vs. Yoel Romero

Unable to put weight on his lead leg for much of the fight, Robert Whittaker's first victory over Yoel Romero was impressively gutsy. That he still took a unanimous decision win against such a terrifying opponent speaks volumes of his heart, but while conventional wisdom states a healthy Whittaker should fair even better in the rematch (provided the Cuban doesn't stomp his knee again), Romero remains extremely dangerous.

When 'Soldier Of God' lands one of his power shots, lights tend to go out. Getting close enough to do this will be problematic, though. Somehow, despite his injury, Whittaker was the busier fighter in their first clash. He possesses a significant advantage in later rounds, when Romero's limited gas tank can no longer fuel his gargantuan frame, and if the Middleweight Champion is to score a finish, it'll likely come in the fourth or fifth.

Trying to ground Whittaker would be a smart move on Romero's behalf, but will he be able to get inside the Australian's jab? Will Robert's 11-month injury absence come into play? Has the 41-year-old Yoel really made the adjustments he claims he has?

We'll find out on Saturday, but until then...

Prediction: Robert Whittaker via unanimous decision.
