The wrestling world is still in shock after Baron Corbin cashed-in on Jinder Mahal, and lost.

It's only the second time that a Money in the Bank winner failed in his cash-in attempt (Damien Sandow being the first), and it's left fans perplexed as to why Corbin won the guaranteed title shot in the first place. The magical briefcase was designed to elevate midcard performers to the main event; i.e., Edge, The Miz, Seth Rollins. As evidenced by his debut on the main roster – winning the Andre the Giant Battle Royal – and subsequent push on SmackDown, Corbin has always been pegged as a future world champion. He has all the tools (in-ring skill, sincere promos, distinct look) to reach the top, and in due time, he’ll be a bona fide star.

However, in a last ditch effort to stir buzz for SummerSlam, McMahon got trigger happy. While Mahal looks stronger for turning back the challenge, Corbin's stock has fallen. If he loses to John Cena at SummerSlam, how can the Lone Wolf possibly recover his momentum?
