The 'Road To WrestleMania' 33 was a bumpy one for Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens. The charismatic pair went from Universal Title stick-on to warring over the secondary United States belt on the show's undercard, and it did not sit well with Jericho.

He's been very vocal in several interviews and on his podcast over the years about how much it sucked to go from top feud on Raw to working second at 'Mania; the fact they went on second was particularly annoying to Jericho. He noted on his pod that few care about that spot, especially if the opener is hot.

It's hard to argue there.

WWE pushed Jericho vs. Owens to the side after getting caught up in the hype surrounding Goldberg's return, and that left their previously-red hot rivalry feeling ice cold in front of fans in Orlando. They were just sorta' another match on the card despite being a focal point on TV for months.
