After leaving the WWE to join TNA, Kurt Angle suddenly became very outspoken about his previous employers and co-workers. A recurring target for Angle during interviews would be Triple H. The issues he had with The Game, were once again down to Hunters unwillingness to share the spotlight and his insecurities about other wrestlers popularity. In an interview with The Sun newspaper in 2008, Angle reflects on how exhausting the backstage powers of Triple H and Shawn Michaels could be, he said Triple H obviously wanted to bash me because I was in the spot that he was in, but he was never going to give up, hes Vinces son-in-law. I had to deal with stuff like that all the time. Id wrestle Shawn Michaels and Id get a little rough with him, then Id get heat from Vince McMahon because I beat up on Shawn too much. So Im like: Well you know what, Im tired of the two long haired sissies. If they cant go up against me then don't put them up against me. Angle has also stated that Triple H would never tap out of the ankle lock, because of his jealousy. The Olympic gold medallist claims that he would happily tap against Chris Benoit because Benoit had no charisma, and against Cena due to Cenas lack of wrestling talent. However, according to The Olympic Hero, Triple H was never willing to give up against him because Angle was the full package and Triple H envied him for that reason. In other news, Kurt recently got stuck in his house because his head wouldn't fit through the door.
