The Road Warriors, or Legion of Doom, as they were later dubbed after joining the WWE, have been extremely vocal about their intense hatred for the man that once signed their paychecks. During a shoot interview, Hawk even went as far as to say, I really hope that I don't outlive Vince McMahon, because if I do, Ill do some horrible things to his grave. Hes the most evil person I have ever met in my life. The linked interview shows the more outspoken member of the tag team, Hawk, expressing his hatred towards his former boss. Within the clip, the Legion of Doom wrestler claims that McMahon had a vendetta against the tag team and purposefully made their second spell within the company largely forgettable. Hawk believes that McMahon did not appreciate the ways in which The Road Warriors would openly air their frustrations within the locker room; going on to indicate that only those willing to brown-nose the boss would ever progress within the company. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACLboyvbhn4 Any negative feelings McMahon may have had towards Hawk and Animal, were put to one side in 2011 when the pair were credited for their achievements within wrestling via an induction into the WWE Hall of Fame. A hugely emotional Animal spent the majority of his speech paying tribute to Hawk, who sadly passed away in 2003.
