3. The Rock

Dwayne Johnson's friends don't need to worry about buying a ticket to see his next blockbuster at the nearest theatre. All they need to do is get Rocky on the phone and ask if they can borrow his private cinema for the afternoon.

A screening room isn't all Johnson's home in Florida's Southwest Ranches boasts. The estate used to be owned by Vernon Carey of Miami Dolphins fame, is valued at $3.45 million, sits on a 2.2 acre lot of land and the actual building itself covers 13,153 square feet of that space. To put Johnson's property into perspective, the average (American) football field is approximately 57,600 square feet.

Yes, his house is just over one fifth of a football pitch.

There are five bedrooms and seven bathrooms inside, along with a plush gym and a private bar. This is very much how the other half live. The Rock has come a long way from Rocky Maivia and that poodle hairdo.
