9. Jake The Snake Roberts And Cheryl
While Cheryl Roberts never was a regular fixture on WWE television for the long term, she served as the catalyst for one of the best rivalries in the late 80s. For those unfamiliar, Ravishing Rick Rude had a gimmick where he would squash some geek and then bring a lucky lady out from the crowd and into the ring for him to plant a less lethal Rude Awakening a kiss that would leave the girl flat on her back on afterward. One particular week, Rude and manager Bobby The Brain Heenan chose a pretty brunette to bring into the ring. However, she refused to participate in his post-match celebration because she was Jake The Snake Roberts wife, Cheryl. From there, the pull-apart brawl and feud was on.
