10 Match Quality Predictions For AEW All Out

9. BUY IN: Private Party Vs. Angélico & Jack Evans

PAC Kenny Omega
AEW

This feels like a brazen move on the part of AEW's execs.

Too much meta comedy on the Buy In shows? Are you worried that style won't appeal to a casual audience? What about an absolutely warp-speed spot-fest that barely even pretends to tell one of your precious "stories"?"

Ackchually, we hate that too.

F*ck off, here's Private Party Vs. Angélico & Jack Evans lol.

Expect 10 minutes of relentless and creative and possibly a-bit-silly high spots in a raw, and rough, lung-bursting sprint that seeks absolutely nothing less nor more than a "This is awesome!" chant within the first two minutes. Expect, perhaps, something better than the expected frenzied but ultimately hollow athleticism; Private Party generated the biggest reaction of the night at Fyter Fest, arguably, so there's a sense that an undercurrent of emotion and genuine crowd support might elevate this into another showcase of the act, and not merely the style.

Angélico & Jack Evans haven't connected as well, but their quite irritating dancing bit will look very, very lame in contrast to Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen's cool factor, which might give the crowd pause to jeer them.

Projected Star Rating: ***3/4
