It was mentioned earlier that Kane has been outspoken on political matters, but he also has a lot to say about economics. For many people, economics is an extremely complicated science that is very hard to understand, unless they spend years reading about it or studying it directly. Kane managed to get past all of that, and has discussed economics in numerous blog posting and in public speeches. Based on his writings and speeches, economics seems to be a favorite subject of his, and he appears to prefer the Austrian school of economics, which is all about the role of the individual and that economics is more about human interaction and decisions, as opposed to numbers, formulas and calculations. Kane has written many interesting things on economics. He has argued for the abolishing of Income Tax, a return to the gold standard, and getting rid of the Federal Reserve. Though many of these ideas might seem radical to many people out there, he backs his views up with strong arguments. Have you ever wondered how and why Kane began speaking so much and so well around 2009/10? It was at that point that he began speaking publicly more often and his worldview was becoming more of a talking point. However, given the extreme complexity of economics as a field, as well as the even more complicated state of affairs in the American economy, perhaps taking such radical actions might not be the best course of action for the US to take at the time.
