10 Missed WWE Booking Moments That Screwed 2015

5. R-Truth For Intercontinental Champion

One of the more annoying/entertaining parts of the build to Wrestlemania was the idea that R-Truth continuously pilfered the Intercontinental Championship. While yes, Truth's on that list of guys that when you see him you inevitably ask "how does HE have a job", the angle definitely entertained the live audiences. Let's imagine somehow if Daniel Bryan fought his way to the top of the ladder and say, Bad News Barrett Bullhammered Bryan when he went to hold the belt. Instead, after being hit, the belt slipped from his hands and fell into R-Truth's at the bottom of the ladder. While yes, WWE likes for all stories to end at Wrestlemania, this is one that could've been kept fluid and moving after the event. Maybe say that Barrett's Bull Hammer knocked Bryan out of commission. Then, have R-Truth have a streak of underdog victories, while Barrett wins King of the Ring. King Barrett wants to "conquer" something, and he choses the IC strap. He wins in short order, and keeps it warm until say, Cesaro would've been able to beat him at like, SummerSlam. Daniel Bryan was likely not in well enough condition to be the IC Champ. A case of WWE's wishful thinking biting the company in the butt, it's something that could've also been avoided, too.
