1. Teasing A Match They Won't Follow Up On

Hope is the most accurate word to use when examining Daniel Bryan's WWE career. The company remain hesitant to put Bryan inside a ring on the off chance it all goes wrong, he gets hurt and WWE have to deal with the resultant PR nightmare. That's understandable. What isn't is pushing people to believe it might happen.

Unless WWE are 100% confident that Daniel will be fine, they shouldn't lead fans down the garden path and let them think there's hope he may wrestle again. It's not necessarily WWE's fault that folks want Bryan to work another match, but they do have the power to avoid flirting with something they can't deliver on come crunch time.

There are hints of Bryan vs. Miz and Bryan vs. Shane McMahon all over programming, and it needs to stop lest fans who find their mouths watering end up disappointed. Making promises that can't be kept is cruel, both to Bryan and the core audience.
