6. Increasing The Number Of Championships

Another idea WWE is running with that they did back in 2002 is to increase the number of championships within the organisation. Many fans still long for the days of 3 titles: the main WWE Championship, the secondary Intercontinental title, and the 2-man Tag Team Championships (plus a Women's Champion despite inconsistency throughout the 80s & 90s).

Recently, it seemed that WWE had placed an emphasis back on the prestige of their various championships. By both eliminating some of the titles and doing less switches, several of the championships had been rehabilitated to a more prestigious position not seen in years.

Now, all of the company's titles will be put to the test again thanks to the addition of RAW's Universal and Cruiserweight Championships, as well as SmackDown's Women's and Tag Team Championships. This makes for a current total of 9 WWE championships (12 if you count NXT): 5 on RAW, and 4 on SmackDown.

Just like they did during the first brand separation with the World Championship, WWE Tag Team Championship, and Divas Championship, WWE has added more titles in 2016 which is likely to do nothing for their importance or reputation.
