10 Mistruths You Should Stop Believing About Wrestling

10. The Industry Is Finished

This is something a lot of older fans will remark from time to time, stating expressly that the pro wrestling train hasn't just left the station, it's been derailed altogether. It's a baffling mind set, because just because one person has stopped watching, doesn't mean that everyone else has followed in their footsteps. For example, if someone loves to watch cartoons, then one day decides to stop, does that mean that nobody will ever watch another Tom & Jerry short again? Of course not, but that's how many folks picture pro wrestling, as something people used to watch. In the above picture, Seth Rollins and Randy Orton are performing in front of a massive crowd of enthusiasts. If the audience stopped within the borders of the image, it'd still be impressive, but the fact is that this year's WrestleMania played to almost 80,000 people. Better yet, the show was witnessed by millions of others worldwide via Pay-Per-View and the WWE Network.
