10 Moments That Literally Stopped AEW Wrestling Matches

Of all the hot new stars AEW could have brought in during their first year of operation, very few people had 60-year-old Arn Anderson down on their bingo sheets.

However, when you remember who one of the founders of AEW is (or, more importantly, who his dad was), it starts to make sense.

The Enforcer made his surprise AEW debut at the very first All Out pay-per-view, during the middle of a scrum between Cody Rhodes, his opponent Shawn Spears, and Spears' manager Tully Blanchard.

Blanchard was well acquainted with Anderson, having teamed with him in the WWE and served as part of the same iteration of The Four Horsemen. He must have been appalled, then, when Anderson took advantage of the chaos, slid into the ring, and hit his trademark spinebuster on Spears.

In truth, the actual match had broken down before Arn made his way out to ringside, but his appearance was the icing on the cake. Cody and Spears had put on a classic old-time wrestling match, so it made sense that a legend like Anderson made his debut as part of it.

God bless you, Double A.
