10 MORE Attempted WWE Repackages That Failed Miserably

5. Beaver Cleavage

The Headbangers weren't a great tag team by any stretch of the imagination, but they were serviceable. Mosh and Thrasher achieved moderate WWE success in the mid/late '90s, and while their gimmick was outlandish and over the top, it was nothing compared to the horrors the former would endure after their first split.

Beaver Cleavage is, without question, one of the biggest pieces of s*** to ever make it to WWE television. The act saw Mosh 'star' in a series of grainy, black and white vignettes with his kayfabe mother, Mrs. Cleavage, a dreadful parody of '50s sitcom Leave It To Beaver. With the former headbanger playing an overgrown child, the duo would exchange awkward sexual innuendo with incest the clear implication, creating some of the Attitude Era's repulsively crude moments. One week, Mrs. Cleavage would offer he son "mother's milk" when he complained his cereal was dry. The next, she'd be patting his crotch down after an unfortunate spillage. It was a mess.

A Vince Russo creation, Beaver Cleavage lasted just a few weeks before Mosh publicly disowned it in a worked shoot promo, and the Headbangers were reunited by the year's end. Neither the company nor the performers would ever escape its infamy, though.
