10 More Early-'90s WWE Superstars You Totally Don't Remember
1. Ron Cumberledge
If there's one thing WWE has gotten better at over the last quarter of a century, it's naming wrestlers. Seriously, Ron Cumberledge? Cumberledge?
To be fair, it's completely possible that's just his real name. We honestly don't know much about him, outside the fact that he fought a handful of (mostly untelevised) matches, virtually all of them losses, for both WWE and WCW from 1990 to 1994.
If online databases are correct, then he rubbed shoulders with some pretty big names, among them Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Sid Justice and Jake Roberts. Sometimes he was even in the ring with them for more than two minutes at a time.
His last recorded match came at an independent show in 1997, and given how little information there is about him on the web, it was presumably shortly after that he decided to call it a day. Something tells us he won't be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame any time soon.
