10 MORE Huge "What If" Scenarios In WWE History

1. What If Daniel Bryan Was Injury-Free?

Few wrestling retirements hit harder than Daniel Bryan's.

Plagued with injuries throughout his past few years of activity, the beloved fan favourite drew the curtain on his lengthy career on 8 February 2016. He intends on wrestling again, but he'll never be cleared to compete in WWE, with ten documented concussions, seizures, and a small brain lesion forcing him into an NPC role.

Bryan was easily the most popular wrestler in the company at the time, and its hard to imagine a scenario in which this isn't the case. Taking it all the way back to his big night at WrestleMania XXX, there's a strong chance he'd have gone on to enjoy a long, successful run as WWE Champion, finally becoming the company's top guy, and the main event's centrepiece for years to come. Everything his fans ever wanted, basically.

This means there'd be no need to ever push Roman Reigns as 'The Guy.' Sure, Bryan was eventually used to put the Shield member over on his road to the top, but his first major WWE injury came before Reigns' Superman push. Daniel staying healthy could've therefore saved fans from years of tedium with Roman as WWE's chosen figurehead, though it's just as likely that 'Mania XXX was a false dawn.
